Part Time Digital Literacy Facilitator Assistant
Job Overview
This position is responsible for assisting in the instruction of adult learners in digital literacy, business, and design, with a particular focus on coaching participants in using digital technologies and online learning platforms. The assistant will manage the computer lab, provide individual coaching, and support learners in both in-person and online formats
Education and Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in training or using computer hardware, software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google tools.

Experience in adult education or community work is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work well in a team setting and independently.
Responsibilities and duties

Instruction
-
Assist in leading specialized small group classes on digital literacy, covering topics like hardware, software, and online learning platforms. Offer one-on-one coaching for students who require additional support and manage a multi-level learning environment.

Record Keeping

Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintain attendance records, and log communications with students.

Communications

Engage regularly with program participants to enhance retention and ensure successful course completion.

Technical Skills
-
Support students in using digital tools such as internet browsers, email, and various Microsoft and Google applications. Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting technology in the computer lab.

Interpersonal Skills

Communicate effectively, present small group sessions, and offer support independently with minimal supervision.
